I’m Eleanor, and these are my notes.
I’m a writer and journalist interested in tech, creativity and writing.
I started my career with the Wall Street Journal in Tokyo, before getting my MBA at INSEAD in France. After this, I worked at the VC firm Atomico in London and as deputy editor of the FT-backed publication Sifted. I am currently an advisor for Bek Ventures and managing editor at Every.
A prominent venture capitalist once described my writing as “high-value per word,” which is probably the highest compliment I’ve ever received. (jk)
What I write about
I’m interested in how AI is impacting writing and creativity. I’m exploring this theme through interviews with writers, designers, marketers, comms people because I believe that real practitioners have the most insight into how this technology will change our world.
I also believe that the US overwhelmingly dominates these conversations, so I endeavor to highlight voices from Europe, Asia, and Africa.
If you have story tips or opinions or want to speculate about when NewJeans will get back together, send me an email.
